Counselling Department and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
School Counselling Department addresses issues that may affect students’ academic performance which includes psychosocial and behavioural challenges. The mental health of every child is unique. School counsellors offer individual counselling to help students resolve personal or interpersonal problems.
The Counselling Department conducts sessions on social and emotional learning (SEL) to help students better understand their thoughts and emotions, to become more self-aware, and to develop more empathy for others within their community and the world around them.
Developing these qualities in the classroom can help students become better, more productive, self-aware, and socially-aware citizens outside of the classroom in the years ahead.
